Forget diamonds. My best friend today has been rubber bands.
I've been crocheting, and was far enough into the project that I needed some stitches marked. I might have used strands of contrasting yarn, but this time I wanted something I was reasonably sure would stay put. So a rubber band, pulled through a stitch and looped around itself, was used each time.
Worked just fine.
Updates to http://counselgiver.com are now live! I hope you enjoy the material there.
I'm testing posting from ping.fm, for which I've just signed up. I'm hoping this will get me posting more entries!
I've had my head buried in my Rebeccaworks site, adding a new product that I love a lot and hope buyers will too (scrubbers). And I've put on hiatus the more expensive of the baby blankets, because it wasn't selling. I want to concentrate on small pieces, so for at least a while I've quit suggesting that the baby blanket pattern also works well upsized to adult afghan.
Coming soon-ish there will be a free pattern for a handbag and an update to the repairs section.
I've been busy working on two projects, one a gift and one for which I plan to offer the pattern. I also am nearly ready to do the website page for my next item for sale. Stay tuned!
But I do read my friends' page!
Current project is a shell-stitch afghan, for a customer. I'm doing a single-crochet border on it, and am almost through with that. Then I get to weave in thread ends, which I would mind more except the whole thing is a single color.
